A community of artisan food and beverage producers rooted in the heart of Tipperary — crafting quality food, sustainably, for generations.
Our Story
It began in 2007 at The Apple Farm near Cahir — a Long Table Dinner hosted by Slow Food Ireland that sparked something special. Pat Whelan of James Whelan Butchers brought together 14 producers, and the Tipperary Food Producers Network was born.
Today, our 36 members grow, raise, brew, bake, and craft some of Ireland's finest artisan food and drink. From world-renowned Cashel Blue Cheese to Galtee Honey's native bees — each producer carries the spirit of Tipperary in everything they make.
